Our Food Gifts

All our meals are made from fresh, natural ingredients and cooked from scratch in our kitchen. We don’t use any additives. All meal packages come with easy to follow instructions. The recipes are family favourites that have been passed down from our family to yours.

A full list of ingredients are included on the nutritional panel on each meal. Any queries please get in contact.

All the main meals are approximately 1kg in size. Picture a 20 x 25 cm traditional lasagna dish about 7cm deep.

One main will on average feed a family of 2 adults and 2 children (you might even be lucky enough to have some leftovers for lunch but never in our house!)

If you are unsure of allergies or ingredients in each meal then please get in touch. Each meal has a full ingredients panel. Please note that in our kitchen we use milk, egg, gluten, peanuts, other nuts, sesame seed and capsicum and we cannot guarantee a total absence of these products in any of our meals.

We do have meals that are vegetarian, and low in gluten and dairy.

Vegetarian: Zucchini, feta and tomato quiche, pumpkin soup and quattro formaggi (gourmet macaroni cheese)

Low Gluten: Chicken soup, pumpkin soup, chicken tagine

Low Dairy: Pork and bean cassoulet, Chicken tagine, Chicken and vegetable soup

Unfortunately all of the desserts have gluten and dairy.

The meals come frozen so that they can be cooked straight away or kept for another day. Any meals you plan on eating in the next two days you can put in the fridge (at or below 5’C) to thaw. All other meals can be put in the freezer for later in the week. A set of  instructions with be included in each package and will assist with any specific food storage and cooking instructions.

Each meal has specific and easy instructions on how to cook in an oven, or microwave. If you are oven cooking you need to remove the plastic cover but the meal comes in a container that is oven and microwave safe for reheating. Meals can also be heated using a microwave, with the exception of those with pastry which are best cooked using an oven.

Delivery

We deliver to most of Sydney Metro areas. Deliveries are made on Mondays and Thursdays. Packages are not delivered on a weekend or public holiday.

Please note we cannot specify time of delivery on a given day as driver schedules and Sydney traffic can change on a regular basis.

If you need a package delivered to somewhere that we have not stated or have any other delivery queries please contact us at 1800 366 344. We are happy to assist.

No, when you place an order You Authorize the package to be delivered without receipt if no one is home. Our delivery guys will do their best to contact the recipient (thats why we ask for their mobile number) to ensure your parcel of goodness get delivered but if no one is home we ask that you specify a particular spot to leave it in case no one answers the door.

If we have trouble delivering to the specified address we will contact the recipient or you to arrange further details. We therefore strongly encourage you to provide the recipients contact phone number so we can contact them if required. Don’t worry we won’t ruin the surprise!

Currently we deliver to the Sydney Metro area. From Palm beach to the Southern shire and Western Sydney. We also deliver outside these areas but need to know more details as the cost and packaging will need to be amended  to ensure the food is maintained and optimal temperature during transport.

We are also planning deliveries to Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane in 2016. We will keep you posted but call us and we may be able to assist.

Ordering

Yes, just call us on 1800 FOOD GIFT, or 1800 366 344 and we’ll take your order over the phone. If you’re overseas and can’t call then please email admin@happetitefood.com.au.

We are happy to assist.

For orders placed online you will receive both a confirmation of order from us and a confirmation of payment from the secure gateway we use to process credit card payments. If you do not receive a payment confirmation you will need to contact us (1800 366 344) asap as we cannot deliver your order until it has been paid for.
